The primary activity enjoyed throughout the year is Drop-In Tennis although many additional organized activities and leagues are set up for club members based on season and interest.

Robson Ranch Texas Pickleball Club

Residents are encouraged to join the Pickleball Club at Robson Ranch and experience one of the fastest-growing sports in active retirement communities. Men’s Basketball

Mixed Volleyball

Games are typically played to 15 points using rally-style scoring, with members refereeing their own matches. Table Tennis

Watch Our Weight (WOW) is a supportive weight-loss and maintenance group designed for adults 55 and over at Robson Ranch. Water Aerobic Classes

Water aerobics is one of the most popular fitness activities in this active 55+ community. Classes feature a full routine, including warm-up movements, barbell and noodle exercises, aerobic workouts, and cool-down stretches with deep breathing. This low-impact program is designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall wellness for active adults.

Happy Potters Pottery Club

The Happy Potters Club at Robson Ranch invites residents to explore their creativity and enjoy the art of pottery. Meeting weekly at the Creative Arts Center, the club also offers open studio hours throughout the week for hands-on practice. New member orientations are held several times a year, making it easy for active adults in this Texas retirement community to get started. Kiln Krafters Ceramic Club

Members of the Robson Ranch Ceramics Club create everything from beautiful works of art to practical items for the home and garden. With access to more than 800 molds and three kilns, participants have endless opportunities to explore their creativity. New members receive instruction in mold pouring and painting techniques, with each project typically requiring a minimum of three to four hours. A modest annual user fee covers supplies, along with small pouring and firing fees. This welcoming club is the perfect place for active adults to learn new skills, enjoy hands-on projects, and have fun in a creative community.

Robson Ranch Scrapbooking Group

The Scrapbooking Group at Robson Ranch invites residents and guests to bring their current projects and enjoy working alongside fellow scrapbookers. Beginners and experienced members alike can find support, with guidance available for planning and completing projects. The group also hosts instructional activities throughout the year, announced in advance to all community members. With no dues or reservations required, this creative gathering offers an easy and welcoming way to share ideas, learn new techniques, and preserve special memories through scrapbooking.

Sassy Stampers

The Robson Ranch Stampers Club brings creativity to life with handcrafted greeting cards and gift items. Members design cards for every occasion, featuring unique details that pop, slide, move, and sparkle—delighting recipients of all ages. In addition to cards, the group creates bookmarks, notepad covers, gift bags, and ornaments. Open to both beginners and experienced stampers, the club welcomes anyone interested in learning stamping techniques while enjoying a fun and social community activity.

The Yarn Divas

The Robson Ranch Yarn and Thread Club welcomes anyone with an interest in knitting, crocheting, or working with yarn, thread, string, or even rope. Members create meaningful projects for charity, including chemo hats, lap robes for wheelchair users, teddy bears, and newborn caps, while also working on personal creations. All skill levels are invited to join—from beginners eager to learn to experienced crafters looking to share their talents. With a warm and supportive environment, the club makes it easy to learn new techniques, give back to the community, and enjoy the art of fiber crafts.

Woodworker’s Club

The Robson Ranch Woodworkers Club is dedicated to promoting woodworking skills for active adults in this Texas retirement community. Meeting every three weeks in the Creative Arts & Technology Center, the club welcomes members of all experience levels—from beginners to advanced woodworkers. Mentors are available to help with project ideas and skill development, ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment. Residents who complete the required safety class with hands-on training gain access to the fully equipped woodworking machine shop, making it possible to create custom projects while learning valuable techniques.

Golf

Designed by renowned Texas golf architect Gary Stephenson, the 27-hole championship course features strategically placed bunkers and hazards that present an enjoyable challenge for novices as well as avid golfers. Join the fun with groups for your skill level, as well as events that offer a chance to introduce friends to the Wildhorse Golf Club.

Couples' Subday Afternoon Golf

Four-person 9-hole scramble in a fun and relaxed social golf setting. After play, the group meets at a player’s home for “Afterglow” with each couple bringing an appetizer and beverage. Call the pro shop before Sunday to sign-up. Sunday afternoon starting times vary with the seasons.

Robson Ranch Men's Golf Association

The Robson Ranch Men’s Golf Association provides a venue for neighbors, friends, and residents to participate in 9 and 18 hole organized golf activities. The RRMGA sponsors several tournaments throughout the year where members, regardless of skill level, can compete. The RRMGA is a group of men promoting the fact that “Golf is Fun.’

Robson Ranch Women's Golf Association

Weather permitting, the Robson Ranch Women’s Golf Association (RRWGA) has a weekly Ladies’ Play Day every Tuesday for all levels of golf (9-hole and 18-hole). The association’s objective is to compete and have fun on the golf course. The last Tuesday of each month is our monthly general meeting and luncheon, where we socialize and conduct general business.

The Robson Ranch Drone Club brings residents together to explore the exciting world of drone flying while promoting safety and legality. Club meetings cover a wide range of topics, from community needs and FAA regulations to hands-on tips for improving drone photography and videography. Euchre Card Game

The Euchre Club at Robson Ranch offers residents a fun and social way to connect over this classic card game. Typically played with four or more players, Euchre nights are filled with fellowship, food, and friendly competition at different homes throughout the 55+ community. New to the game? No problem—members are always happy to teach beginners the rules of this popular trick-taking card game.

Inside Straight Poker

The Robson Ranch Inside Straight Poker Club welcomes both men and women to enjoy an evening of cards, fun, and friendship. Players can choose from a variety of formats, including Dealer’s Choice, Texas Hold’em, and Hold’em/Omaha Hi/Lo tables. The club is a great way to meet new people in the community while enjoying the excitement of poker. For those new to the game, beginner and instructional tables can be arranged to make it easy to learn and join the fun.

Mah Jongg Group

The Mah Jongg Club at Robson Ranch brings players together each week at the Wildhorse Clubhouse to enjoy this timeless and exciting tile game. Played with 152 tiles, Mah Jongg uses a card with different winning combinations, and a new card is released each April to keep the game fresh and challenging. With ever-changing strategies and plenty of friendly competition, the club offers residents a fun way to stay engaged and socially connected.

Ladies’ Afternoon Bridge

The Party Bridge Group at Robson Ranch offers residents a relaxed and social way to enjoy this classic card game. Open to all skill levels, the group plays informal Party Bridge for fun, with no partner required. Bridge remains a favorite pastime in this active adult community, providing both challenge and camaraderie for players.

Genealogy Club

The Genealogy Club at Robson Ranch helps residents explore and preserve their family history through programs, education, and shared research experiences. Meeting regularly at the Creative Arts & Technology Center, the club provides resources and support for beginners and experienced genealogists alike. It’s a welcoming space to learn research techniques, exchange ideas, and connect with others who share a passion for tracing family roots.

Just Good Readin’ Book Club

The Just Good Readin’ Book Club at Robson Ranch brings together residents who share a love of reading and lively discussion. Meeting monthly in the Clubhouse, the group explores a wide variety of books and encourages thoughtful conversation in a friendly, welcoming setting. The Game Day Group at Robson Ranch welcomes guests and residents to enjoy a wide variety of board and card games in a fun, social setting. Players gather to enjoy classics like Cribbage, Euchre, Rook, Dominos, Chess, and Checkers, along with dice games, Yahtzee, and specialty favorites such as Business, Sci-Fi, Railroad, Historical, and Sports games. With so many options, there’s always something new to try and plenty of opportunities for fellowship and fun.

Games for Dames

The Ladies’ Game Night Group at Robson Ranch is a popular social club where women from this 55+ retirement community gather in homes to enjoy a variety of games, including dominoes, cards, and parlor games. Each event is hosted by a different member and announced through the HOA, with guests bringing snacks, desserts, or beverages to share. Open to all Robson Ranch ladies, this group offers friendship, laughter, and plenty of fun.

Shutterbugs

Shutterbugs is the photography club at Robson Ranch, welcoming residents of all skill levels who share a passion for capturing great images. Members enjoy activities that encourage fellowship, spark creativity, and expand their photography skills. From learning new techniques to exploring creative processes, the club provides a supportive environment where photographers can grow, connect, and showcase their work.

Giving Back

Breast Cancer Support Group

The Robson Ranch Breast Cancer Support Group welcomes women who have been previously or are currently diagnosed with breast cancer. Meeting monthly, members provide one another with encouragement, information, and emotional support. The group also takes part in events such as the Komen Race for the Cure, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, survivor celebrations, and educational forums, creating a strong network of hope and empowerment.

After Schoolers

The Robson Ranch Retired Teachers Group is made up of former school personnel and friends who dedicate their time to supporting educators at Borman Elementary in Denton. The group hosts two community-wide garage sales each year to raise funds for teacher grants, helping provide valuable classroom resources. In addition, members organize treat days and host soup and salad luncheons to show appreciation and encouragement for the teachers.

Kiwanis Club

The Robson Ranch Kiwanis Club is part of a global organization of volunteers committed to improving the lives of children and strengthening communities. Support Our Troops, Inc. is a non-profit, non-political volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the material, physical, and emotional needs of military men and women both at home and overseas. The group welcomes service members at DFW Airport, sends care packages, cards, and letters, and provides financial support to other military charities with a similar mission. Robson Ranch Veterans’ Park

The Robson Ranch Veterans’ Park is managed by the Robson Ranch Park Committee, made up of Support Our Troops members. The park features commemorative bricks honoring both living and deceased veterans who are residents, relatives, or friends of the Robson Ranch community. Brick drives are held each spring and fall, with special ceremonies on Memorial Day and Veterans Day to honor and remember those who have served.
